Chapter 1.5: Baby

Braylee and Holden began hanging out everyday, going on dates.  They loved spending time together.

 

 

They would have the best time, flirting, laughing and enjoying each others company.

 

Braylee loved that Holden would get up and sing karaoke with her.  It was always magical when they sang together.

 She loved even more when he would grab her in the middle of a date and kiss her with such passion she could just die.

 She was in love.  They are in love.

 

 

 Very soon Braylee and Holden were living together.  Of Corse Carter was still in the spare room.

 

 

Ulrike came over once sunny day and her and Braylee decided to lay outside.  The convocation soon turned serious when v announced she was pregnant.

 

Braylee shot right up in surprise.  She was s excited for Ulrike.

 

Ulrike brought out her phone and showed Braylee her ultrasound.  She was 12 weeks to the day.

Braylee was over the moon. So over the moon she didn't even consider who the father was.  To her knowledge Ulrike was single.  But she knew she was seeing someone secretly.

 

Ulrike then announced that Carter was the father and they have been seeing each other.  She was in love with him.  Braylee couldn't believe it, she had no idea.  For Christ sake she lived with the guy.

 

She was happy it was Carter though, he was a good guy and Holden was great mates with him.  Ulrike even knew about Braylee's one night stand with Carter and didn't care.  Two best friends dating two best friends.  Braylee loved it.

Next step is was Ulrike to actually tell Carter, she had not yet told him.

 

 

  Ulrike told Carter that night.  he was nervous but excited.  Everything was happening so fast but she was so in love with Carter it didn't matter to her.  But did it matter to him?

 

She finally told him and he was shocked, but excited.

Braylee was dying to tell Carter about the pregnancy.  Holden was excited for his friends.  The topic then turned to when Holden and Braylee were going to have kids.

 

 

 

Braylee told him she does want kids but not until she is older and more accomplished in the music industry.  There is a lot she wants to tick off before that.  Holden seemed keen to have kids sooner then later, he was getting on the older side.

 

 

A bit of time had past and Ulrike and Carter's baby was due any day now.  She had been living in the house too.

 

Braylee got her big promotion she was now a 'Serious Musician'.  She discussed with Holden and Carter what the future living arrangements would be.  Braylee was happy to move and let Carter and Ulrike live in the house.  She was trying desperately to get Holden to agree in moving to San Myshuno as there was so many more job opportunities there for her. 

 

Holden finally agreed and told Braylee that her wish was his command.  He agreed to move to San Myshuno.  Braylee was over the moon!

Not long after the convocation Ulrike when into labour.

 

Carter freaked out, he had no clue what to do.  He soon calmed down and took Ulrike inside as her plan was to have the baby at home.

 

A short few hours later it was pushing time.

 

The baby was finally here.  A little boy.  They called him Rowan.

Holden was already trying to help as much as he could.  He was the babies god father and Braylee was Rowan's god mother.

Holden often wondered if Braylee would ever change her mind about having kids sooner then later.

 

Chapter 1.4: Unwritten

After a long and restless night and day, as soon as Braylee clocked off work she was ready to hit the town.  Carter told Braylee that Holden will be at the club today and it would be better to speak to him there.  Braylee was nervous.

 

But she was also very ready to tell Holden how she felt and she wanted to look good too.

 

 

She liked to look in the mirror!

 

It was getting late and Braylee had not seen Holden yet.  She was busting her moves on the dancefloor to loosen up.  Then Holden arrived.

Braylee tried to get Holden's attention but Holden did not seem interested, he told her this was not the time or place to chat about things.  Great advice Carter!!

Braylee was sad and disappointed.  She better go home, it was nearly dawn after all.

Just as she was about to leave she heard someone yet out to her.  It was Holden.  He said he was sorry and she deserved a chance to clear things up with him, he thought it would be silly to put it off any longer.

 

Braylee told Holden how sorry she was and that it was meant to be him.  That night she wanted him.

 

Holden said she appreciated her honestly and that he will think about what she said.  Speaking to Holden made Braylee feel so much better.  All this stress was effecting her work life and promotion.

 The next day Braylee was writing up a storm.  All her feelings for Holden were coming out in her music and she was writing some really good stuff that she was proud of.  Then the doorbell rang.  It was Holden, she better get dressed and pretty herself up.

 

Braylee was a bit scared to see Holden, what if he rejected her and can not forgive her.

 



 

 

 Braylee invited Holden in and they went up stairs to chat.

 

Holden told Braylee that he had done a lot of thinking and he forgives her and feels the same way about her.  He was falling for her.  He was just a bit sad that she got with Carter.

 

 

They got closer. Braylee said that it would never happen again.  It was always meant to be you.

 

Braylee and Holden embraced for a hug.  Braylee was on cloud nine.

 

This was it the first kiss...

And things never felt so right before.  Braylee was falling in love with Holden.

 

 

Meanwhile, some more blooming love was in the horizon with Ulrike and Carter.  After meeting at the dinner party weeks ago the two began seeing each other.

 

Cater was a softie at heart.

For the right women...

 

 

Chapter 1.3: Unbelievable

Braylee was feeling angry and lonely.  She couldn't believe this was happening to her.  What she needed to do was relax, calm down and focus on herself and her music. She needed to be surrounded by people through. She rang Ulrike and Holden up straight away and invited them over for tea.  Carter was also coming over.

 

Eagerly waiting for her friends to meet her for dinner she filled her day up by venturing down to the local park and watch the clouds go by trying to meditate.

 

She also played her guitar for tips.  This would be helping her raise extra money for her future (in San Myshuno hopefully!) and also got her practice up.  She was in the running for another promotion soon, which would move her focus from entertainer in general to musician. 

 

It was finally dinner time and all her friends were there.

 

 The topic of convocation turned to Braylee and her love interest.  Holden was shocked to hear of the trouble that Bjorn put her through.

Carter on the other hand was a bit more nonchalant about the whole thing and told Braylee that these things happen if you don't ask if they are single straight away.  He had a point.

It was so good to see Ulrike get along with her neighbours.  The group had a good laugh and Braylee had a very good time.  It was just what she needed to raise her spirits up.

After a few more alcoholic beverages Carter started talking about Braylee, saying that any man would find her attractive and he could see why even a married man would try to snag her up.  At the time Braylee was more flattered then anything, yeah it was a little insensitive but she didn't care at this point in time, she needed the confidence boost.

 

After a few more beverages Holden gave Braylee a cuddle and said that he agreed with everything Cater said, she was not only attractive but she was a perfect catch.

It was in this moment Braylee could see what was standing in front of her this entire time.  Holden.  He was a good guy, just the kind of guy she needed.  She felt something when she was with him.

 

The two took a drunken photo on Braylee's phone and continued on with the night.

 

This is where it all turns a bit fussy for Braylee.

 The next morning Braylee realised what she had done.  She whoohoo'd with Carter and not Holden.  What a mess she had made.  She had finally realised that she had feelings for Holden and she ended up in bed with his housemate.  What was she doing? and how did she end up here with Carter instead of Holden?

 

 

After not seeing or speaking to either Holden or Cater for a few days (she couldn't face up to the music) Braylee thought it was time to go over to their house and face them.

 

Carter told Braylee the story.  Holden passed out on her couch and him and Braylee continued to drink and one thing lead to another.  As soon as he told her the story it was all coming back to her.  He told her that what happened between them was just a bit of fun and Braylee was also happy to leave it as that.  He said that Holden said he didn't care about what happened but he was acting weird towards him, so Carter thinks that he does care.  Carter told Braylee that she should speak with him and clear it all up.

 

Now she had to face up to Holden.  She wasn't sure how things would go.  Did she screw up forever?
